Saudi Tanmiyat eyes real estate market in Albania

Saudi Arabian real estate developer Tanmiyat Group has set its sights on Albania, in an effort to broaden its investment portfolio from Turkey, the UAE, Jordan and Sudan.

"Albania is an exciting market, and there is much to be gained from our presence there," Tanmiyat chairman Sheikh Sulyman Al Majed said at the 2nd International Conference on Foreign Investments in Tirana.

"As a rapidly developing country and a NATO member state on its way to becoming a member of the EU, the country faces many of the same challenges and has many of the same opportunities as we have in the Gulf."
 
The conference, which Tanmiyat (www.tanmiyat.com) sponsored this year, has become an annual event gathering investors from the Middle East and other countries to explore investment opportunities in Albania.
