Google upgrades Balkans.com page rank

Michael Roberts - 24.01.2011

Balkans.com has had an unbelievable 2010 reports the publisher and 2011 is looking even better. "Now with 2011 starting off with an increase of page ranking, we will be able to draw in even more advertising and already we have had many inquiries. I am happy to say that our current advertisers have been renewing each year so we must be achieving good reeults for them" says a company spokesman. According to Wikipedia,PageRank is a link analysis algorithm, named after Larry Page, used by the Google Internet search engine that assigns a numerical weighting to each element of a hyperlinked set of documents, such as the World Wide Web, with the purpose of "measuring" its relative importance within the set. The exact formula is unknown but Balkans.com contribues this to its soaring readership and technological changes.

"In a very short time, we have become the voice of the balkans. I am not only pleased for the companies sake but for the region. The news we report is read  worldwide and this provides fuel for bringing additional business and investment to the Balkan countries. We expect even more page rank increases this year, with the plans we have. We must all work together to increase exposure, investments and business in the Balcans."said Publisher, Alison Andrews. The company has also just released its travel guru which provides an up-to-date, useful and informative directory of products and services in each country and travel resource with important information on traveling in the Balkans. The company reported a rise in advvertising requests and business directory placement since its release. "Now we see the tourism organizations of the Balkan countries, which are spending a great deal in advertising, looking to Balkans travel guru, http://www.balkanstravelguru.com as a way to spread their message to tourists worldwide. We are also in discussions with many companies for back links"
