BiH and Montenegro sign new interstate agreements

Delegation of Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina initialed Friday, in Podgorica, two new interstate agreement in the field of international assistance - the Agreement on mutual execution of court decisions in criminal matters and the Agreement on Legal Assistance in Civil and Criminal Matters. 


In order to improve cooperation in areas of mutual execution of court decisions in criminal matters, the two delegations,, the countries agreed that the new agreement provides for the enforcement of criminal judgments , compared to earlier solutions. Under the new contract, the execution of criminal judgments in cases when citizens of one Contracting Parties or persons who reside in it, which were condemned in the other Contracting Parties shall be conditional consent convicted, according to previous agreement was not possible.
