Dutch Redevco building eco-friendly mall in Edirne Turkey

Milliyet - Redevco, a Dutch real estate investment and development firm, is building an environment-friendly shopping mall in Edirne, to be opened in the third quarter of 2011. The shopping mall is expected to create employment for 2,000 people. “Redevco had an initial budget of EUR 1 billion for investments in Turkey”, said Redevco Turkey’s General Manager Patrick van Dooyeweert, speaking of the company’s 2006 entry to the Turkish market. Having used half of that amount for their completed projects, Dooyeweert said they are interested in further investments in Edirne, as well as in other parts of the country.
