Getting started

e-Romania: 500 million euros to modernize the country

The Romanian government decided to implement a priority in the strategy eRomania and identifying sources of funding to achieve its objectives.
Approximately 500 million estimated for implementing the strategy approved by the Government will have the following sources:
         Structural Funds available to our country of the European Union
         Other types of grants,
         Public-private partnerships,
         Credit provider,
         Commitment appropriations, including specific form, directly related to savings,
         Concession and outsourcing services.
 
            "ERomania strategy involves more than just a website or portal, as speculated. It is the interconnection of all public administration in Romania, both central and local, so as to enter among the world from this point of view. We meet citizen so that it no longer pieardă neither the time nor money on the doors of public institutions. Save public money by full transparency and reach the level at which we can access anytime, from anywhere correct information and, not least, secure, "said Minister of Communications and Information, Gabriel Sandu.
 
 
Short and medium term strategy aims to build a 300 eRomania electronic service operational by the end of 2011, interconnection and full computerization of the Romanian Government and all public institutions, so that access private citizen and the environment to public services are directly and unlimited.
 
                    "Once the implementation strategy, Romania will be truly modern, with an accessible government put at the service taxpayer. It is one of the most ambitious goals so far which will lead Romania among the first European countries. eRomania ensure increased quality of the public and the transition from bureaucratic administration to public administration Minina ", he said Gabriel Sandu.
