On Wednesday, PM Boc discussed the Guarantee Fund and stated "From our perspective, today, the Guarantee Fund is ready to receive the banks’ applications for the first home programme in any of its three forms: 60 thousands EUR, 70 thousands EUR or 75 thousands EUR. Hence the ball is in the banks’ court, the Fund is ready to receive applications from banks, given that citizens address the banks", he continued on by saying that "the Fund is ready to receive applications, it depends on banks how they move. Hence, the ball is in the banks’ court."

When asked by a reporter about Bechtel, PM Emil Boc replied "The essence is that the works to highway will continue, over the next period, a protocol is to be signed between the Ministry of Transport and Bechtel on the road sections that will be subject to work in 2010, including with financial backing, primarily fully paying the debts that we have in 2010 and this falls to the Government’s responsibility."
