Serbian Minister of Energy and Mining Petar
Skundric and Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini said yesterday that
Serbia and Italy should work on improving economic relations, especially
in the field of infrastructure and energy.
In a telephone statement to Beta news agency, Skundric said that during
the meeting held as part of the Read More">forum
“Development Scenarios for the Adriatic-Balkan Region“ held in Gorizia,
Frattini expressed interest in joint projects related to use of
renewable sources of energy in the production of electricity and said
that he may visit Serbia on 27 April.
The Minister said that he
conveyed the Serbian government’s readiness to implement projects in the
fields of infrastructure and energy which are of interest for the
Adriatic-Balkan Region and which are important for Italian-Serbian
cooperation.
