Bulgaria’s Socialist-led cabinet is preparing reforms aimed at enhancing the economic stability of the country and does not consider the ongoing anti-government protests a threat, according to Bulgarian Financial Minister Petar Chobanov.
In an interview to a reporter of CNBC TV, Chobanov explained that the ongoing protests calling for the cabinet’s resignation don’t border the politicians as only time could show cabinet’s ruling abilities after preparing reforms for improving Bulgaria’s political and economic situation.
“We have more time in front of us. We are preparing the budget for the next year, preparing changes in legislation in terms of boosting competitiveness, increasing opportunities for SMEs to participate in public procurement, in terms of reducing administrative burdens and reducing the administrative expenditures “said Chobanov in the interview reports Novinite.
