In September the prices of accommodation in hotels in Bulgaria fell, compared both to the previous month and to September 2012. The decrease in the overall average prices in the country is mainly due to a fall in the prices at the Black seaside hotels, meanwhile the average prices of the hotels in Sofia, Plovdiv, Ruse and Veliko Tarnovo increase.
The data is from the monthly hotel index of the “trivago.bg” search engine, which compares the prices of over 700 000 hotels from over 200 booking websites around the world.
The average price of accommodation in Bulgaria has decreased by 17%, compared to August and 8% in comparison with September 2012. The highest prices have the hotels in “Albena”, where the average price for a double room is BGN 147, after the 17% decrease. Invest in Bulgaria
