The European Commission (EC) will provide funding to Bulgaria within the next 7 years only if the country introduces reforms. Most funds will be allocated to transport, environment and competition sectors of Bulgarian economy. In early 2017, the EC will assess the improvements of all EU member states in different sectors of economy, Focus wrote.
In case of lack of reforms, the money will be suspended and the country will have to return the already absorbed funds.
