Slovenian telecommunications operator Amis is up for sale for around EUR 30 million, reveals local business daily Finance. The company is also active in Croatia, in the internet, fixed telephony and IPTV segments. Amis had been operating at loss for several years, but last year financial indicators improved and it recorded a profit of EUR 600,000. The Slovenian operator is owned by investment funds KBC (Belgium) and Iris Capital (France) reports Telecom Paper. Meanwhile, the number of mobile phone subscribers in Slovenia rose 3 percent on the year to some 2.25 million at the end of June, according to data published by Slovenia's Statistics Office.
