The biggest increase in salaries is in Bulgaria's Education and Tourism sectors for the second quarter of 2013, compared to the same period of 2012, according to the National Statistics Institute of Bulgaira (NSI). NSI have separate data for the business expenses for salaries and expenses for social and health insurance.
In the second quarter of 2013 the price of a working hour have risen 3,4% on a year base, according to preliminary data from NSI.
In general social and health insurance expenditures increase faster (4,7%) than the salaries (3,2%).
The biggest increase have the salaries in Education – 9,5% and Tourism – 9,3%. The data shows that the average salary in the education sector rises from BGN 717 to 776, in Tourism the average salary increases from BGN 504 to 539 for a year.
Salaries decrease the most in the Culture, Sports and Entertainment sectors (-10%), followed by the Real estate operations (-5,6%), compared to the same period of 2012. Invest Bulgaria
