Montenegro's Minister Brajović Zanonata discussed cooperation between Montenegro and Italy on issues concerning traffic. Brajović Minister briefed the guest on the status of the project highway Bar-Boljare priority share Smokovac-Mateševo, the Adriatic-Ionian motorway, about projects faster roads along the Montenegrin coast and detours around Herceg Novi, Tivat, Kotor, Budva and Bar.

They also emphasized the need to increase the contingent of permits for international freight traffic between Italy and Montenegro.

Ministers underlined the good cooperation with the Italian company Ocean Montenegro and agreed that it should further intensify maritime traffic between the two countries.
Cooperation in the field of railway transport is very intense, with an emphasis on the study of the technical and economic feasibility of reconstruction of the Belgrade-Bar railway. This study was prepared by the Italian company Italferr, and the Ministry of Economic Development of Italy for the job provided a million euros. Ministers Brajović and Zanonata discussed rehabilitating rail lines Bar-Vrbnica (and on to Serbia), since the corridor XI is the shortest route from Southern Italy via Montenegro and Serbia to Eastern Europe.
