The Statistical Service of Cyprus announces that it has published the monthly report “Intra-Extra E.U Trade Statistics (Summarised Data)” for June 2013.
The main developments in Cyprus foreign trade were:
(a) Total imports/arrivals (covering total imports from third countries and arrivals from other Member States) in January-June 2013 amounted to €2.297,6mn as compared to €2.876,1mn in January-June 2012. Total exports/dispatches (covering total exports to third countries and dispatches to other Member States) in January-June 2013 were €800,4mn compared to €727,6mn in January-June 2012. The trade deficit was €1.497,2mn in January-June 2013 compared to €2.148,5mn in the corresponding period of 2012.
(b) During June 2013 total imports/arrivals (covering total imports from third countries and arrivals from other Member States) valued at €404,6mn.
(c) Total exports/dispatches (covering total exports to third countries and dispatches to other Member States), including stores and provisions, in June 2013 amounted to €133,6mn. Εxports/dispatches of domestically produced goods, including stores and provisions, were €62,5mn whilst exports/dispatches of foreign goods, including stores and provisions, were €71,1mn.
