Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić said Serbia would give concrete and constructive contribution to the OSCE and that it had shown readiness to take over OSCE presidency in near future. Addressing OSCE ambasaadors, Nikolić said that, on the basis of agreement between Serbia and Switzerland, a presidency based on coordinated approach in the implementation of activities would be established for the first time. In 2015, the 40th anniversary of the Final Act of Helsinki, a major OSCE document, will be marked, he said. Serbia counts on the OSCD as a partner in the implementation of the programme of the rule of te law and human rights, especially in Kosmet, media democratization and assistance in police activity.
