Slovenia's biggest bank, NLB, issued about EUR 680m in loans in the first half of 2013, a quarter of which were new loans. Costs were down 13% year-on-year, the bank said after Friday's meeting of the supervisors. The supervisory board reaffirmed its confidence in the management's efforts to restructure the bank. The banks has regained some of the activity on the market in terms of new customers and projects, with a particular focus in the first six months of the year being activities in the areas of micro, small and mid-sized companies, the supervisors said reports Slovenia Times
