Serbia's Ministry of Finance and Economy announced that the management of Simpo accepted the proposal of Minister Mladjan Dinkic to turn the company’s tax debt into the shares of the state. The statement said that the Serbian government has thus become the majority shareholder with approximately 70% of the capital of the company, adding that Simpo also promised to regularly pay all the taxes to the state and contributions to workers.
