In the seven months of 2013, Slovenia's total consumption of electricity decreased for less than 1% over the same period one year ago.
Decrease of total net electricity generation in July compared to June in Slovenia. Compared to June 2013, in July 2013 total net electricity generation decreased by 1% and consumption increased by 4%. Hydro power plants generation decreased by 33%, generation in the thermal power plants increased by 43% and generation in nuclear power plant increased by 1%. In line with the higher production in thermal power plants, fuel consumption in July 2013 also increased by 40%.In July 2013, 619 GWh of electricity was imported and 854 GWh was exported.
In July 2013, Slovenia's supply of energy commodities in general went up as 52% with Lignite and Brown Coal, 14% with Transport Diesel Oil, 12% with Coke Oven Coke, 10% with Other Petroleum Products, 6% with Kerosene Jet Fuel and 6% with Heavy Fuel Oil. Compared with previous month we further noticed supply fell as 30% with Heating and Other Gasoil, 17% with LPG, 10% with Natural Gas and 8% with Motor Gasoline. Statistical Office Slovenia
