Serbia's Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic has ordered the Task Force of the Criminal Police of the Ministry of the Interior to check the sale of property of the Serbian Vrsacki Vinogradi wine producer.
In a statement to the Tanjug news agency, Dacic said that he forwarded to the Ministry of the Interior a report of the Anti-Corruption Council on the sale of Vrsacki Vinogradi, in which serious objections were stated that require immediate verification.
The report contains allegations claiming that the Privatisation Agency caused serious damage to the state and the company in question.
The Prime Minister recalled that the auction for Vrsacki Vinogradi was held in late July and that the Chinese consortium Guan Nan purchased the company for approximately €5.3 million in the third round of bidding, which is 30% of its market value. Government
