TeleSign, an Internet security and authentication leader, has opened an Operations Centre in Belgrade for its mobile services division, TeleSign Mobile. In honor of this occasion, US Ambassador in Serbia Michael D. Kirby organized a reception in his residence. Among numerous invitees, representatives of the government of Serbia were present, as well as domestic and foreign companies -- present and future partners of TeleSign.
Headquartered in Marina del Ray, California, TeleSign recently established the TeleSign Mobile division with a head office in London, UK. As the company expands, TeleSign Mobile recognized Belgrade, Serbia as an ideal location for its operations center. Belgrade was chosen for its highly educated, motivated, and multilingual workforce, many of whom have deep industry knowledge and experience in telecommunications.
Significant investments will include:Ambitious hiring plan as part of regional expansion with more than 100 employees planned for BelgradeExtensive employee training and knowledge transferNew state-of-the art facility in VIG Plaza, New BelgradeSignificant investments in system infrastructure using local suppliersIntegration and collaboration with US-based counterparts"We are constantly impressed with the quality of the labor market in Serbia," said Steve Jillings, CEO of TeleSign.
