Arrivals of tourists in Cyrpus reached 42.327 in February 2013 compared to 55.420 in February 2012, recording a decrease of 23,6%. A decrease of 26,9% was recorded in tourist arrivals from the United Kingdom (15.232 in February 2013 compared to 20.827 in February 2012), 9,3% decrease from Greece (6.540 compared to 7.211 ), 3,6% decrease from Russia (4.098 compared to 4.253 ) and 55,9% decrease from Germany (3.719 compared to 8.427 last year). On the other hand, an increase of 146,5% in tourist arrivals was recorded from Israel (from 611 in February 2012 to 1.506 in February 2013).
For the period January – February 2013 arrivals of tourists, in Cyprus totalled 84.613 compared to 103.030 in the corresponding period of 2012, recording a decrease of 17,9%. Source Statistical Office
