Compared to the previous month, the total value of Slovenia's roundwood purchased in January 2013 was higher by 48%, mainly due to higher quantities of purchased wood. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs went up by 60%, of purchased pulpwood by 14%, of purchased other industrial roundwood by 13% and of purchased wood fuel by 7%.Compared with January 2012, in January 2013 the value of purchased roundwood in Slovenia decreased by almost 27%. In the same comparison the quantity of purchased wood also decreased. The value of purchased wood fuel was lower by 30% and of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs by 23%.
