The interest for investing in Serbia is growing

Balkans.com Business News Correspondent - 08.03.2013

The renowned British company Brian Lack&Co., reputable building company Neimar V and consulting company for assistance to foreign investors Prospering Foreign Investments are just some of the exhibitors that will present their business at this year's investment and real estate fair BelRE.

"The interest for investing in Serbia is growing compared to the previous period and the election year. The fact that several investors have already announced their arrival confirms this. The greatest interest is in investment in renewable energy, agriculture, tourist potentials and production, so all these topics will be in focus of this year's BelRE," says Miloš Rajšić, Director of the BelRE fair.

The organisers expect an exciting conference with over 40 speakers; representatives of key companies, foreign investors and government representatives. Hot topics of the conference will be: how to attract foreign investors and revive the economy; what foreigners see as strengths and weaknesses of the Serbian market; how to increase export; is there room for recovery of the real estate market; how many new apartments do we need; how well has real estate leasing been accepted; how big is the demand for office and commercial space; are prices of land and real estate at their minimum; what are the main problems when purchasing real estate.

The international fair and conference on investment and real estate BelRE will be held for the eighth time on 25 and 26 April at the Belgrade Fair.
