As of June 1, building permits in FYR Macedonia will be issued electronically. The new software developed by the the Association of Local Self-Governments (ZELS) and the Agency for Electronic Communications, will shorten the period for obtaining a building permit from 45 to 15 days as reported by MINA.

 

FYR Macedonia's Minister of Transport and Communications Mile Janakieski said at Wednesday's promotion that the new system would benefit citizens, but also stimulate foreign investors.
