Sarajevo Bosnia Herzegovina itself welcomed a new arrival. Pegasus Airlines launched services from Istanbul, making it the third airline to operate between the two cities. The inaugural service from Turkey’s largest city was carrying 119 passengers on board the Boeing 737-800. A total of thirty weekly flights are planned between the two cities this summer season, to be shared between Pegasus, Turkish Airlines and B&H Airlines. Additionally, Kuwait Airways will launch seasonal flights from Kuwait City to the Bosnian capital with the widebody Airbus A300. However, for now, plans for Wizz Air to launch flights to Sarajevo have fallen through.
