Iran and Turkey will be establishing a joint commercial zone on the border between the two countries, IRIB News reported.
CEO of the "Industrial Estates" company of West Azarbaijan province, Ahmad Mousavi said there will be two towns built, one on the Turkish side of the border, one on that of Iran reports Trendaz.
The town on the Turkish side would be named Sari su, while the one on the Iranian side - Bazarqan.
"The purpose of establishing a joint commercial zone between Iran and Turkey is to increase commercial dealings," Mousavi explained, adding that the project itself would begin in March 2013.
