A ten-percent increase of the minimum wage in Bulgaria may be the last move of the country's outgoing parliament in an attempt to calm down the protests which have swept Bulgaria recently.
This is one of the measures against low incomes which President Plevneliev discussed with party leaders, the Standart learnt.
The address of President Plevneliev will stress on the necessity of urgent measures against poverty. The opportunities for an increase of the minimum salaries in Bulgaria was the most discussed topic during the sitting of the Consultative Council on National Security held on Tuesday, participants in the sitting commented.
