In February 2013, Slovenia's retail trade confidence indicator (-7 percentage points) was 6 percentage points lower than in January 2013 when it stood at -1 percentage point. Compared to February 2012 it decreased by 18 percentage points and was 16 percentage points below the long-term average. The situation indicators decreased compared to the previous month. The expectation indicators increased compared to the previous month, except the expected sales indicator. The selling prices expectation remained the same. Among the situation indicators, Slovenia's sales indicator decreased the most (by 20 percentage points) compared to the previous month. Among the expectation indicators, the expected employment indicator increased the most (by 30 percentage points) compared to the previous month. The most important factors limiting the enterprises in Slovenia's retail trade were low demand (60%), competition in own sector (48%) and high costs of labour (48%). 10% of enterprises experienced no limits in their activity.
