The Serbian government, in its session on Friday, decided to provide the payment of mandatory health for 16,856 employees in 122 companies in restructuring and for members of their families for the next three months. The government appointed Vera Stoiljkovic as acting director of the Institute of Virology, Vaccines and Sera "Torlak" and made a decision on granting prior approval for the appointment of Momcilo Babic as director of the Health Insurance Fund.
The Serbian government on Friday also adopted the decree laying down the criteria, method of protection, terms, conditions, and procedures for determining the status of a protected purchaser of energy. The condition for obtaining the status of a protected purchaser of energy is the total monthly income of up to RSD 12,900 for a household with a single member, RSD 18,786 for a household with two or three members, RSD 24,672 for a household with four or five members and up to RSD 30,558 for households with six or more members.
This decree was taken in order to protect the socially vulnerable population and encourage the reform of the energy sector in Serbia. Source; Serbian Government
