Getting started
The first thing you need to do is choose a news reader, if you already don't have one. This is a piece of software that checks feeds you have requested and lets you read any new articles that have been added. There are various types of news reader. Energy consumption in Slovenia dropped by 6.4% between 2008 and 2011, according to data presented by Eurostat. The drop in Slovenia is above the EU average at 5.7% reports STA.
Slovenia's energy dependency was at 48.4% in 2011, slightly under the EU average of 53.8%, Eurostat said.
The highest energy consumption in 2011 was recorded by Germany (316 million tonnes of oil equivalent, which was -7.7%), France (260 million tonnes, -4.6%), the UK (199 million tonnes, -9.4%), Italy (173 million tonnes, -4.8%) and Spain (129 million tonnes, -9.4%).
