Serbian factory for ecological management of animal waste completed by Belgians

The Belgian company Electrawinds finished all works on the construction of a factory for ecological management of animal waste, Energozelena, in the northeast industrial zone in Indjija. Electrawinds invested the total of EUR 21 million. 
The factory will be annually processing 150,000 tonnes of waste from the meat industry and dead animals, and part of this waste will be used as a renewable source of energy. This investment is also significant from the environmental aspect, given that animal waste will no longer be burnt in the open, dumped to rivers and streams or buried under the ground. Source:VIP
