In December 2012. Slovenia prices of agricultural products were on average 3.5% higher than in December 2011.
At the annual level, Slovenia's prices of crop products on average 4.5% higher. In comparison with December 2011, in December 2012 fruit prices increased on average by 25.5% and vegetable prices by 23.0%. Lower than a year before were the prices of wine (on average by 2.9%), of horticultural products (on average by 1.9%) and of industrial plants (on average by 4.4%).
In comparison with December 2011, in December 2012 the prices of animals for slaughter, in Slovenia, increased on average by 8.2%. The prices of cattle were on average higher by 13.1%, of pigs by 10.5% and of poultry by 1.5%. The average milk price was 5.4% lower.
In the fourth quarter of 2012, Slovenia's prices of crop products increased on average by 7.3% over the fourth quarter of 2011, while the prices of animals and animal products were on average higher by 2.7%. Source; Slovenia Statistical Office
