Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina's FinMin meets IMF mission

FBiH Minister of Finances Ante Krajina talked with the IMF Mission which is headed by Ron van Rooden.
The mission will be in BiH from 13 to 26 February in order to have series of talks as a part of the second review of stand-by arrangement which was approved on 26 September 2012, as the support for economic development in the period 2012-2014, worth 800 million BAM, two third will go to FBiH and one third to RS.
Van Rooden congratulated BiH for successfully finishing the first review in December 2012, and added that the Executive Board of IMF was very pleased with the review and adoption of budgets of FBiH for 2013.
Concerning the fact that IMF technical mission is also in BiH which offers help in the field of ”Budget Management and Strengthening the Framework for Fiscal Reporting”, Krajina and deputy minister for budge Alija Aljović acquainted the IMF delegation with negotiations FBiH is having as a part of technical mission, where they talk the most about the Draft Budget Law. They also acquainted the IMF Delegation with problems of planning and executing entity and cantonal budgets.
