Serbian oil firm NIS, a subsidiary of Russia's Gazprom Neft, said it posted a 22% rise in 2012 net profit to 49.5 billion dinars ($592.9 million) on the back of efficiency measures and higher output, Reuters reports.
Ebitda rose 27% to 66.5 billion dinars and its total debt to banks stood at $403 million by year-end, 10% below the previous year and giving a debt/Ebitda ratio of 0.45%.
Output rose 11% to 1,694 tonnes of oil equivalent. At the same time, crude oil refining volume amounted to 2.1 million tonnes, down from 2.3 million in 2011.
