Serbian Minister of Finance and Economy Mladjan Dinkic met with representatives of businessmen from Qatar, who confirmed interest in investing in Serbia.
The Ministry of Finance and Economy said that the interest in investing in Serbia is increased in other Gulf states, primarily because of the good business environment and the openness of the government of Serbia for the investment coming from all over the world.
Representatives of businessmen from Qatar indicated that they are particularly interested in the investment in electronics and construction.
The government of Serbia and the Ministry of Finance and Economy will continue to generate business contacts with entrepreneurs from around the world, given that the interest of Serbia is to achieve the best possible business cooperation with all countries and attract more investment.
This is the first delegation of businessmen from Qatar who visited Serbia, and an additional motive for the visit was the beginning of a successful cooperation between Serbia and the United Arab Emirates, the statement added.
