Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić called on Azerbaijani business people to invest in Serbia and emphasized that bilateral friendship and his word would guarantee for their successful business.
According to him, Serbia’s advantages compared with other states are the following ones: high-skilled and educated workforce, excellent geographic position, tax incentives and good laws and regulations. He assessed the political relations between Serbia and Azerbaijan as excellent and that there was also room for further progress in the economic sphere. His advisor for economic issues, Predrag Mikić, presented to the gathered business people three projects in which they could invest: Vrnjačka Banja, a free zone between Čačak and Kraljevo, including the Lađevci airport and the Štavalj mine and hydro power plant near the border with Montenegro.
