According to the data from the State Statistical Office, a total of 277 building permits were issued in December 2012, which was 8.2% more than the same month of the previous year. 
According to the issued building permits, the expected total value of the constructions was 2 965 275 thousand denars, which was 53.5% more than the same month of the previous year. 
Of the total number of issued building permits, 189 (68.2%) are for buildings, 36 (13.0%) are for civil engineering structures, and 52 (18.8%) are for reconstructions. 
Of the total of 277 structures, for 201 (72.6%) the investors are private persons, and for 76 (27.4%) structures the investors are business entities. 
In the reference period, 587 dwellings are planned for construction, with total useful floor area of 48 503 m2.
