At the meeting with a delegation of the Finnish Parliament Committee for European Affairs, Serbian Assembly Speaker Nebojsa Stefanovic expressed expectation that Serbia will acquire the EU accession talks start date in June, while assessing that our country fulfilled conditions required to commence the talks.
Stefanovic thanked Finland for help it extended to Serbia in the EU integration process. He informed Finnish parliamentarians about legislative activities of the Serbian Assembly, especially about harmonization of the local legislation with the European ones, and about the adopted system laws. President of the Finnish Committee for European Affairs Miapetra Kumpula Natri, who headed the delegation, said that the Finnish Parliament traditionally supports and helps parliaments of the EU member candidate states.
