Bosnia and Herzegovina's Bijeljina municipality sets aside 4 million KM for infrastructure projects

For the construction of roads, water, sewers, electrical networks and gasification, the budget of Bijeljina will this year set aside around 4 million KM, according to data from the Department of Housing and Municipal Affairs.
According to the program of maintenance and modernization of local and uncategorized roads and streets, from this amount for the regular maintenance of the road network 1,050,000 KM is allocated, for the construction of municipal infrastructure 2,900,000, from which 1 million KM is a loan taken for investment in road infrastructure.
The biggest part of the 2,125,000 KM will be invested in construction, paving and reconstruction of road networks.
Around 280,000 KM is expected to be provided for the water supply network, for electrical network 345,000 KM, and for gasification 150,000 KM.
For the sewer construction project entitled ”Orio”, credit-cofinancing resources of 800,000 KM is expected, credit funds of 200,000 KM for the design and supervision of a sewage system and 200,000 KM credit funds for the implementation of the project ”Toplifikacija”.
