Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivan Mrkic met with several colleagues from Latin America and Europe on the sidelines of the Santiago de Chile Summit 2013 between the EU and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) to discuss promotion of relations.
The Foreign Ministry said in a release that as part of the Serbian delegation led by Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic, Mrkic had a series of separate bilateral meetings with his counterparts from Latin America and Europe, including form Serbia's neighbouring countries.
Substantive discussions on topics of importance to the improvement and further strengthening of bilateral relations were held with representatives of Chile, Bolivia, Uruguay, Trinidad and Tobago, Suriname, Sweden, Lithuania, Slovakia, Poland, Ireland, Italy, Cyprus, Romania and Croatia, according to the Foreign Ministry’s release.
