Bosnia and Herzegovina's Drvar records 20,000 tourist visits in 2012

Last year, around 20,000 tourists visited Tito’s cave and museum in Drvar, which is located within the memorial complex ’25 May 1944’. This is the highest number of registered visitors after the war, according to statistics from municipal departments.

This complex was renovated 10 years ago, while in 2012 it was proclaimed a national monument.

The most amount of visitors are from the former Yugoslav republic, with an increasing number of visitors from Western Europe. This is an opportunity to launch projects in tourism, which, before the war, generated significant revenue.
