More money from abroad has arrived in BiH last year compared to 2011. Money transfers from the diaspora represent an important social and economic support Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The BiH Central Bank confirmed that for the first three quarters of last year, the total foreign exchange transfers for all sectors, except for the government, totaled to 2.64 billion KM. This is an increase in comparison to the same period in 2011, when it amounted to 2.57 billion KM.
