Sisecam authorizes management for Pasabahce IPO process

In a filing submitted to the Public Disclosures Platform yesterday, Sisecam announced that its management has been authorized for the IPO process of its subsidiary, Pasabahce. Recall that Sisecam holds an 83% stake, Anadolu Cam has a 5% and Trakya Cam has a 7% stake in Pasabahce.

It is a long awaited development and therefore, we deem the news to be positive for Sisecam since it would unlock the hidden value of Pasabahce as well as increasing the company's transparency. According to our model, Pasabahce (5xEV/EBITDA) has an 18% share in Sisecam's NAV. Therefore, unlocking this value may be a catalyst for Sisecam's share price.
