It is highly probable that by June 30, when Ireland’s EU presidency ends, Serbia will get the date for the commencement of EU accession talks, Serbian Deputy PM for EU Integrations Suzana Grubješić said in Brussels after talks with members of the European Parliament’s Foreign Policy Committee.
She assessed the draft resolution on Serbia previously discussed by the Committee as very affirmative and full of support of preservation in the EU integration process. Commenting on talks in Dublin, where she attended an informal meeting of EU foreign ministers, Grubješić said she was very satisfied with the messages of encouragement she received. Officials in Dublin and Brussels and those in London and Copenhagen, assured her of the fact that enlargement remains a priority of Ireland’s EU Presidency.
