Turkey's Koza Gold announces raised reserves and production for 2012

In a filing submitted to the Public Disclosures Platform yesterday, Koza Gold released its gold reserves & resources and production figures for 2012. Accordingly, proven and probable gold reserves have increased to 3.7mn ounces as of year-end 2012 from 2.87mn ounces of gold from year-end 2011. Meanwhile, measured, indicated and inferred gold resources have increased to 12.6mn ounces of gold from 11mn ounces of gold in 2011. Reportedly, the report also highlights that there is a 50% potential increase in resource and reserve figures.

Separately, the company also increased its production to 338k ounces of gold, which is record high, from 302k ounces of gold.
