Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta will meet a visiting International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation at Victoria Palace (the Govt's offices) on Tuesday, the Government's press office announced on Monday, Agerpres reported.
Ponta will welcome the IMF experts, who are on a mission aimed to evaluate the state of the Romanian economy, at 6:30 p.m., after an extraordinary meeting of his Cabinet that is to approve the measures to be taken ahead of passing the 2013 state budget and social security budget.
The Prime Minister had said last Tuesday that the structural reforms, the moves that need to be made with respect to the power companies are the toughest issue to be discussed with the IMF delegation.
