The economic forecast for Serbia in this year is mildly optimists and some economic growth is expected, but the quality of the economic policy will have impact on the degree of the positive growth, it has been assessed by experts of the World Bank.
Coordinator of the that institution for the West Balkans Zeljko Bogetic has told a press conference that this year will be better for the region and Serbia than 2012, and the economic growth of approximately 2% is expected. At the presentation of the publication “Global Economic Forecast”, Bogetic has stressed that now is the right time to make a turn, and added that the Serbian budget for 2013 is a step in good direction. He has pointed that the main challenges for the region are the implementation of the fiscal consolidation and decrease of the unemployment rate.
