Akfen Holding signs a JV agreement with STFA

Akfen Holding announced that the company has established a JV with the local STFA Group to participate in the tender for the privatization of Baskent natural gas distribution to be held on January 18, 2013. The STFA Group is a conglomerate providing services in the construction, natural gas distribution, construction equipment and construction chemicals businesses with an annual turnover of USD 1bn.

Comment: Akfen Holding closely follows privatization tenders. Since the Baskent natural gas distribution tender is a major privatization tender, we expect the company will be enthusiastic to acquire it. We welcome the JV news and believe it is positive for Akfen Holding.
