Simona Bazavan - Business Review - 11.01.2013

The two sons of Romanian businessman Costel Casuneanu in partnership with Belgian developer Yves Weerts have begun the construction of a 27,000 sqm office tower on the Corneliu Coposi Blvd, some 500 meters from Unirii Square in Bucharest, according to b365.realitatea.net.

The construction of Unirii View Tower will be handled through C&I Building, a company controlled by the Belgian investor through Tuilia Invest (75 percent) and the two sons of Costel Casuneanu (25 percent). The building permits for the construction were obtained in December 2010 but construction has only recently started. The project will be built on a 2,000 sqm plot of land which is privately owned and used to be a park. Unirii View Tower will be 97m high and it will have 17 floors.
