Serbia's Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic said that citizens will live slightly better in 2013 as the country is expected to record the biggest economic growth in the region and to gain a date for the beginning of EU negotiations. Dacic told B92 that our country is expected to perhaps record the biggest economic growth in the region, noting that those will be only minor steps forward, ranging from 1% to 4%.
We need Serbia to have at least a 5% economic growth per year in 2015 and 2016, at the end of our mandate, so that people could sense that they live better. This certainly cannot happen if Serbia stops its European integration, the Prime Minister added.
